The annual meeting of consumer-members at JPEC was held in a non-traditional fashion this year, but that did not stop more than 2,200 cooperative members from casting their votes in this year’s election of directors. After all votes were counted, four incumbent board members, Erick Harris, District 6, Jack Marshall, District 8, Wayne Elliott, District 7, and Lee Bearden, District 3, were re-elected to four-year terms. Votes cast for each candidate are as follows:
• Erick Harris – 1769 (incumbent)
• Jack Marshall – 1,813 (incumbent)
• Wayne Elliot – 1,143 (incumbent) James Rodgers – 826 (candidate)
• Lee Bearden – 1,787 (incumbent)
We want to congratulate the four incumbent directors on their re-election. They bring with them a unique set a talents and gifts that support the cooperative’s overall vision and mission while representing our membership with the utmost professionalism and integrity. The consumer-members of JPEC should be proud of the directors they have chosen to represent them. We consider ourselves fortunate to work with all eight directors that serve on our board.
This year’s annual meeting was a success and a great example of how our team at JPEC will rise-above and overcome challenges that come our way. Thank you to the all employees that made this event possible and thank you to every consumer-member who participated, we consider ourselves blessed to serve each of you.
Wishing you all the best,
President & CEO
